Homes of the Month – November

As November draws to a close and we experience a significant drop in temperatures, we find ourselves spending even more time in the serene space we call the bathroom. It’s a place of relaxation, tranquillity and warmth, forming a place of refuge from the hectic duties of life.  We’ve compiled a list of our favourite transformations that we’ve discovered this month, including bold and eclectic, Art Deco beauty and contemporary minimalist. @surreyfamilyhome

With the recent increase in homeowners seeking a hint of colour in their bathrooms, it’s no surprise that this striking blue has caught our eye. With the earthy colour forecast to remain popular in 2022, @surreyfamilyhome is ahead of the times with this beautiful interior. With hexagon tiles that are seemingly fitting to Art Deco, the rest of the space injects modern minimalism through sleek matte black brassware and the Aura wall hung basin, keeping a cohesive theme running through that works exceptionally.

@morphinterior

This creative children’s bathroom has been beautifully considered, taking into account practicality, style and artistic flair. With the Tom Pigeon geometric wall tiles revealing a splash of colour, the rest of the space is kept minimal, using a cabinet mirror to create an illusional enlargement of the space and the Lusso Ethos basin as the perfect centrepiece. The matte black brassware visually attracts the eye due to its stand out hue against the colourful and minimalist theme.

@inside.job.studio

This master bathroom design is sublime, depicting an interesting blend of colour and materials that instantly reminisces the glam bathrooms that were prevalent in the 1920s. With deep green walls, woody notes and geometric tiling, the compilation is nothing short of Deco beauty, making the matte white appeal of the Cotti double stone basin stand out perfectly, as well as our brushed gold mixer taps. The globe pendant lighting adds that final Art Deco characteristic.

@sumner_and_rye

It was the bold blend of colour and pattern that caught our attention from @sumner_and_rye. With a strong green backdrop in the shade ‘Pleat’ from the Little Greene Paint Company and equally stylish 1950s checkerboard tiles, this utility room is everything from classic and glamorous to rich and eclectic. Showcasing wall panelling, art work and a hint of brushed gold, each feature work seamlessly to add luxury to the space and the Lusso matte white Aura basin and Senza toilet is no exception. The space is beautifully finished with our matte black basin tap and flush plate.

@renovating_stonesthrow

This modern and contemporary bathroom from @renovating_stonesthrow was originally a master bedroom before undergoing its transformation, now split into a family bathroom and a bedroom. The modern theme pays particular reference to Scandi decor, incorporating natural foliage and woody elements as well as minimalistic matte white and matte black – each working in harmony to complement the space. This bathroom features the beautiful Lusso Amalfi freestanding bath, Maya basin and matte black brassware.
