Looking to refresh or renovate the heart of your home this year? Here we highlight some of the key kitchen looks for 2023, which include bold colour palettes, statement hardware, and smart appliances.

Colour Revival

Colour made a comeback in 2022, and the shift from white, greys and neutrals to bolder shades will continue throughout 2023. Alongside on-trend tones of dusty blue, sea green and earthy mustard, we expect to see a myriad of colours replacing muted palettes across kitchens. Rather than replacing your entire kitchen to bring it up to date, you can inject colour via a fresh lick of paint across walls, surfaces, cabinets, and kitchen islands. Alternatively, you add pops of visual interest by investing in fixtures and fittings with a timeless finish, such as our Vello and Cubo Undermount Sinks which come in brushed stainless, gunmetal black, and warm brushed gold.

Luxe Splashbacks and Clever Cooking

The growing popularity of slide-in stoves – which are built without a backguard – means that splashbacks are now taking centre stage in many kitchens. Dramatic stone slabs guarantee high impact, however, a more attainable option is luxury tiling.

Our tile range includes flawless styles and varied textures to create visual interest, including fluted travertine stone tiles, monochrome chevron tiles expertly cut from Carrara marble, and mosaic Tunisian Grey marble tiles for a timeless, refined aesthetic. Backless ovens also make way for pot fillers – the highly functional kitchen feature that enables you to fill pots and pans without making trips to the sink. reducing spills and stains while increasing efficiency and convenience.

As designers and developers look for ways to make our homes smarter, we expect to see even more seamless technology integrations within kitchen spaces. Created to make life a little easier, there’s now a much wider array of smart devices and white goods available on the market, including fridges with remote viewing access, voice-activated microwaves, multi purpose ovens that notify you when your food is done, and dishwashers that automatically determine how much detergent to use based on the volume of dishes.

Innovative appliances that offer efficiency and convenience are also must-have items for discerning homeowners, including our best-selling Filtrata 4-in-1 Boiling Water Tap. Providing filtered, boiling, hot and cold water at the touch of a button, the Filtrata is now available in both traditional and contemporary designs to suit a wide range of interior styles.
