This beautiful collection is part of our venture towards becoming a leading single-brand department store, and is designed to work in conjunction with our wider range of homeware, such as candle holders, vases, and dog bowls. The collection includes the Nazzano coffee tables, which are larger in size than the average coffee table, as well as the Azzurra coffee tables and matching side tables. Each design is also available in four stunning types of marble, including Nero Marquina, Pietra Grey, Carrara and Arabescato.

What inspired you to create the table collection?

This collection comes as part of Lusso’s homeware expansion, enabling our clients to enjoy lasting luxury - which is synonymous with our brand - across all living spaces. Initially the range only included smaller items such as vases, candles and dog bowls all carved from pure marble, however it's been so well received that we've scaled it up with larger furnishings. Tables are true statement pieces for the home, and they can make or break an interior, so it was a natural step for us to introduce coffee tables. We'll also soon be launching our first ever dining tables, which I'm really excited about.

How did you determine the styles and shapes used throughout the range?

Like all Lusso collections, we've focused on blending contemporary style with timeless elegance, so each of the designs can be enjoyed for many years to come. Our Nazzano coffee tables are a little larger than average, and feature a frame in our most coveted finish - brushed gold - ensuring that they make a design statement in any living space. The Azzurra design it also very distinct as it's completely hand carved from a solid block of marble, with no joints or fixings, for a smooth finish. Although each of these designs differ greatly from each other, they both beautifully complement our existing range of homeware. 

How did you choose the types of marble for this collection?

Marble is one of the most beautiful materials out there, with design qualities that are simply unmatched. It embodies timelessness, elegance and luxury, which our aesthetic is aligned with, so it was undoubtedly going to be the core material behind this collection. The four varieties of marble used include two of our most popular types, Italian Carrara and Arabescato, as well as the dark and dramatic Pietra Grey and Nero Marquina. The design variances between these types of natural stone ensure that our clients can invest in the style and shade that's perfect for their own home, as I'm always looking to give customers a wide enough choice to suit varied interiors. Even for our stone baths, I try to make sure the majority of styles are available in matte and polished white as well as coloured options such as grey or black. 

What else is in the pipeline for the expansion of the Lusso brand?

The Lusso brand is only going to grow. I want Lusso to become a leading single-brand department store, and we’re already massively underway with this project. Our renowned bathroom collection is forever evolving and we’ve introduced new styles to the brand such as mid-century modern vanity units and traditional Art Deco inspired pieces. As well as expanding the homeware range with solid marble dining tables later this year, we're also looking to launch a range of light fittings, and in the near future, I’d like to design a collection of outdoor furniture.
