EVERLASTING APPEAL

Attractive, durable, and incredibly strong, stone has long been used to create beautiful homes, both inside and out. The oldest examples of furniture - located in a Neolithic settlement in Scotland - are made from solid stone, and despite being created between 3100 - 2500 BC, the pieces can still be viewed today.

Fast forward to the present, and stone remains to be a staple material throughout luxury interior design. As well as beautifully appointed private residences, our signature collections of stone freestanding baths and basins can be found in the most opulent commercial destinations across the globe, from Claridge’s in London to the Equinox Hotel in New York.

With its distinctive monochrome stripes and swirls, Panda marble creates an instant impact in luxury bathrooms

SENSORIAL EXPERIENCE

In addition to its exceptional durability, Durastone - a blend of pure powdered limestone and commercial-grade resin - allows us to create timeless silhouettes for both contemporary and traditional interiors. Importantly for our planet, all of our stone baths, basins and accessories are also designed to be enjoyed for decades to come, and come complete with a lifetime promise.

On top of being one of the first green materials, stone also offers a number of sensorial advantages that rival any synthetic alternative. Its inherent smoothness and tactile qualities can create a soothing, relaxing effect, exemplified by worry and massage stones, helping us to feel more connected to our surroundings.

INTRODUCING TRAVERTINE

To extend our stone offering even further, we’ve recently introduced a range of baths and basins - including freestanding, countertop and wall-hung styles - expertly crafted from travertine. Deriving its name from Tivoli near Rome, the rustic stone has a rich history and was strongly favoured by the Roman Empire which used it to create many of its most iconic landmarks, including Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum.

Formed as the result of mineral-rich water seeping through sedimentary rocks, travertine is similar to limestone however it offers a unique look and feel with its muted base, amber tones, natural indentations, and distinctive layers. Adding visual warmth and texture to any space, the stone’s natural patina also ages beautifully over time, making it an ideal addition to our enduring collections of furniture, fixtures and fittings.
