Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, Port Lympne Safari Park is a wildlife sanctuary that transcends the conventional zoo experience. Spread across 600 acres of lush greenery, it not only provides a haven for endangered animals, but also promotes sustainable tourism and offers stays in truly unique lodgings.

Managed by the Aspinall Foundation, the reserve is renowned for its commitment to animal welfare and preservation, and plays a pivotal role in breeding programs for endangered species, with a focus on reintroducing them to their natural habitats. To financially support this endeavour, as well as overseas projects delivered by the foundation, Port Lympne offers visitors immersive experiences that go beyond traditional zoo visits, with guided tours through open landscapes where animals roam freely. The Serengeti-style safari adventures bring visitors face-to-face with majestic creatures such as giraffes, zebras, and rhinos in surroundings that mirror their native environments, prioritising the wellbeing and health of its inhabitants.

Relax in the iconic Picasso while enjoying breathtaking scenery

As well as providing carefully designed living spaces for the animals it protects, Port Lympne also features incredible accommodation for guests, including its popular Lion Lodge. The collection of Manhattan-style loft buildings are set within a spacious habitat that enables patrons to rest and relax in extremely close - but completely safe - proximity to the kings of the jungle. The safari park’s Leopard Creek, Tiger Lodge, Hog Deer Creek, Rhino Lodge and Wolf Lodge are also surrounded by namesake wildlife, but for those who prefer a little more privacy, Port Lympne features a four-star boutique hotel, an award-winning treehouse suite, and hidden forest dens for romantic retreats.

The unique destination boasts beautifully designed living spaces for both guests and the wildlife it protects

The one-of-a-kind lodgings feature a Picasso Freestanding Stone Bath, enabling you to enjoy a long, hot soak while watching the stars

Set in secluded nooks on the reserve, guests can also enjoy a stay at The TreeTop Bubble or The Lookout Bubble - which opened in 2023 - for the ultimate room with a view. In addition to transparent walls and ceilings that provide breathtaking, panoramic vistas of the park, the bubbles are beautifully appointed for a comfortable stay, and come complete with a king-size bed, living room area, ensuite wet room, air conditioning, wifi, concierge service, and even your very own golf buggy to help you more easily explore your stunning surroundings. Designed to blend with the landscape, each of the one-of-a-kind lodgings also features a Picasso Freestanding Stone Bath, enabling you to enjoy a long, hot soak within its deep curves and smooth finish while watching the stars.
